After the waiting time for delivery, you probably want to install the cargo lift right row. But there are some steps you should know before and after the installation work. Let’s take our goods lift as example and break the work into steps. With this guide, you can get a productive and stable machine very fast. Let’s begin!

Electric power supply: 380V, 50Hz, 3phase

This are two pre-installed lead rails, with chains, cylinders, wire ropes, wheels etc pre-installed.

Step 1: Put Platform into installation site

Put the platform on the installation site where it is supposed to work. Make sure pit is concrete finished. And leaving the distance between the door or wall to the platform. 25-30mm is ok.

Step 2: lead rails erect up and fix on upper and bottom

There are two sets of baseplates below for installing the two sets of lead rails. Put one baseplate on concrete ground closely beside the platform, put it under the wheels of each side of platform.
DO NOT FIX IT WITH SETSCREWS BEFORE WHOLE LIFT INSTALLED, IN CACE OF ADJUSTING NEEDED.
Put the plate right under the wheels on platform closely
Then erect up one set of lead rail, make sure the 工 shape lead rail adapts with wheels on platform.
After this lead rail erected to the platform rail, use bar iron or rope to fix the wall or something temporary for stable consideration.
Put the other set of baseplate under the platform wheel, and then erect the other set of lead rails to the other side of the platform in the same way.
After two sets of lead rails all be erected up. The very important thing is to make sure the lead rails are vertical.
Use an apeak test device or thread with stone and ruler to make sure the lift must be vertical. This is very important!
Details as below:
1. put a thin board with apeak test on the upper post, and use ruler make sure the lead rail is
vertical.
2. same way to test vertical for the other post of this side lead rail.

3. After the two posts of this side lead rail are vertical, fix the upper lead rail with the wall.
If the wall is steel structure, you can just cut the steel tube to the required length, and weld it with the lead rails along the wall.
If the wall is not steel, you can use the steel plates and setscrews fixed on wall first, and then use steel tube welding the lead rails.

Then weld the bottom of lead rail posts with the steel plate beside the platform.
4. test vertical of the other two posts for the other side of the lead rail and then fix it on upper and bottom of lead rail posts in the same way as above shows.

Step 3: chain and wire rope on lead rails connect with platform

Connect the chains and wire ropes on lead rails with the platform respectively.

Step 4: connect oil rope with cylinder and pumps

Put seal ring into the hydraulic oil pipe and connect oil tube with cylinders on lead rails.

Then connect the pipe end with the below 3 links
The other end of the oil pipe, also put the seal ring first.
Then connect the two shorter oil pipes with cylinders on lead rails, like pic below
Then put the pump station in the proper place near the lift, connect the longer oil pipe with the hydraulic pump station.
Since there are 2 pumps, we connected them together . You just need to connect the longer pipe with the link below.
Put hydraulic oil in to the pump station, put #46 hydraulic oil in summer or #32 hydraulic oil in winter.
Electrician connects the bigger control box with hydraulic pump, using wires. Put the control box in the proper place near the lift.
(there are 2 control boxes in total, one bigger and one smaller. Bigger one could be put at ground floor and the smaller one could be placed on second floor)

Step 5: Carrying idler and debugging for the cargo lift.

Till now, main work of install is almost finished. We could do the trail run of lift now. Connect the lift with electric power 230v 3 phase. Power on after installation of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems. Press the up button, start up the electric machinery and the hydraulic system and the oil cylinder work. The platform rises and press stop button when lift arriving at the working height 4m. It stops at this height. Debug and fix the limit switch. Afterwards, repeatedly test its sensibility to ensure safety of equipment. DO NOT PUT ON WEIGHT AT THIS MOMENT IN CASE OF DANGER, AS FIX WORK HAVE NOT FINISHED.
According to requirement in User Guidance, the platform functions with carrying idler for about 5times, overseeing the working situation of equipments including tightness of chains, stability of guide frame movement and leakage of hydraulic system, immediately solve problems if any.

Step 6: limited switches fix

There are two places need to fix limited switch, one is fixed on base plate, when the platform get down, it touches the limited switch, the platform will stop. The other is on the 4m height of lead rail post, when lift travels to the target height, platform parallels with second floor ground, fix the limited switch like below

On upper lead rail lift. Two limited switches here, upper one as backup incase the lower one failures to work.
At this time, use setscrews fix the base plates with the concrete ground. (refer Step 2)

Step 7: fix the lead rails with walls on upper, second floor and bottom like pic below, like mentioned in step 2.3

Step 8. Loading test

If no problems rise up in the functioning of carrying idler, carry out loading experiment subject to rated load and work for about 5 times, observing whether all parts have no distortion, abrasion or other abnormities.
