How to Install Scissor Lift?

Scissor lift installations are limited to stationary hydraulic scissor lifts. Mobile and traction lifts are factory assembled. The following are the detailed installation steps of the fixed hydraulic scissor lift.

  1. Preparation before installation

 

After the equipment arrives, the installation technician of the equipment party will reconfirm the size of the pit and conduct a level test, which are two very important items. The equipment is transported to the site, together with the equipment, there are also equipment accessories and parts boxes. After inventorying all tools and installation parts, the installation work can be carried out.

 

  1. Put the equipment into the preset pit

 

When the equipment is put into the preset pit, it is necessary to use a forklift. When the load table is large (greater than 2.5 meters) and the forklift cannot be hoisted, a crane must be used. The specific requirements should be determined according to the weight of the equipment and the customer’s installation site space. When hoisting, first make the fixed scissor lift in the lowest state, and fix it firmly with a wire rope or cloth belt, and then put the equipment in the predetermined position.

 

  1. Simple fixation of equipment

 

The so-called simple fixation is to fix the lifter with a few screws first, the purpose is to adjust the position of the lifter to the best state, and then perform formal fixation after the height, levelness, orientation and other adjustments meet the requirements. Before the formal fixation, in addition to the fixed position, you also need to consider the pipeline of the elevator, the routing of the oil circuit, and the connection with the pump station.

 

  1. Connection of equipment wiring and pumping station

 

After the equipment is placed and fixed, the wiring can be carried out, and the travel switch line of the equipment is connected with the control line, the control box, and the handle button. Connect the oil pipe of the equipment to the pump station, and the joint head is spaced with a composite pad to prevent oil leakage. Connect the pump station, control box, and handle buttons on the table of the equipment, and then wait for the trial run.

 

  1. Equipment operation test

 

The power cable of the equipment is connected, and the test machine starts. Lift the device with no load, and pause in the middle to test the control button. Check whether each button is flexible and effective. After the equipment is fully loaded, carry out lifting operations. Check whether each button is flexible and effective. Can it run normally. Raise the equipment to the highest point, and check whether the contact gap between the table and the pit is within a reasonable range.

 

  1. Fixed equipment

 

How to fix the equipment is a key step. During installation, the load-bearing table of the elevator needs to be hoisted, and the elevator is in a raised state, which can leave a certain space for the installer to install and fix the equipment (pay attention to safety) . The equipment fixing method is generally to fix the bottom frame with expansion screws or welding of embedded parts. When the load of the equipment is less than or equal to 1 ton, it can be fixed with expansion screws. If the load is greater than 1 ton, it must be fixed by welding embedded parts.
